You are invited into Crown of Mary’s next prayer circle — an opportunity to learn spiritually, but also to open yourself to a direct experience of the light of Christ, through the Blessed Mother Mary.
Together, we allow the stories of the Gospel to come alive in our hearts. We visit them not just to understand them, but to encounter them — with the intention of awakening a deeper relationship with Mary’s life and Christ’s teaching.
This gathering is open to all. No one will be turned away. Everyone is welcome. Come as you are.
At the heart of our journey are the 12 Stars of Mary’s Crown — twelve sacred moments that reveal her extraordinary story and the divine light that continues to shine through her.
Our reflection this month will focus on the Seventh Star of Mary’s Crown – The Finding of Jesus in the Temple.Â
This month’s Crown of Mary is all about not losing sight of what’s important.
It’s about tuning into the blessings of our life, but also quietly trusting that even when we’re not able to fully understand or see it, there is still a divine plan unfolding.
Our reflection this month is going to be on the moment where Mary thought she had lost Christ, only to find him in the temple.
Originally, the whole Holy Family were in Jerusalem for Passover and were moving with the community back to their home base.
Assuming that Jesus was with the rest of the children or others travelling with them, Mary and Joseph continued on.
But soon, they realised that Jesus was not moving with them at all.
Hurrying back to Jerusalem, they searched for three days, only to find Jesus in the temple — speaking, listening, and sharing wisdom with those gathered, who were amazed by his presence.
During our meditation, we are going to enter this scene and recognise that sometimes the greatest blessings in our life are already with us, already moving alongside us.
And if we’re not always able to see them, we might lose sight of them — but the divine will not. It’s a reminder to us that nothing is lost in the mind of God.
That even if we can’t fully fathom or understand what’s going on, or what we may have lost sight of, there is still a divine plan unfolding.
As the live meeting of this gathering lands on Divine Mercy Sunday, in our prayer we’re going to have a special focus on the visions of Saint Faustina Kowalska, who had direct experiences and personal revelations while encountering Christ.
This Polish mystic nun, over the final years of her life (particularly between 1931 and 1938), recorded these encounters in which she met Christ in a deeply personal way.
In one of her most well-known visions, she saw Jesus with two streams of light pouring from his heart — one red, representing blood, and one pale, representing water — symbols of life, healing, and renewal.
Instead of receiving a Christ of fear or judgement, Saint Faustina experienced the mercy of Christ — being met exactly where she was, as she was. Instead of pleading for forgiveness, she was met with acceptance.
So in our gathering, we are going to say a special Divine Mercy prayer, where we can come to Christ as we are, and allow ourselves to be met with the pure, divine acceptance of mercy.
As usual, we’ll open our time together with our three-part prayer, holding space for anyone — or anything — that needs extra light, care, or support in their life right now.
From there, we’ll move into reflection and meditation, entering the scene together — not just to think about it, but to have direct experience and develop the mystic within.
